Rachel Langlois: Director/Teacher
Hi! I am so excited to share with you a little about myself! I am the mother of two wonderful little girls and a little boy: Kara, Jessalyn and Josh. Kara and Josh both attend Kindergarten at Cloverleaf, and Jessalyn attends preschool at Cloverbuds. I LOVE what I do… I am very passionate about Early Childhood Development and Education. I have spent most of my adult career working with children in the public and private arena in many different capacities. As an educator, I believe the field of early childhood development has much to offer and can greatly benefit both children AND teachers in the classroom, as well as helping families and communities become pillars of strength in a child’s educational career. My constant goal is to focus and streamline my program with key concepts that arise in the home, and to work with each parent on their child’s developmental and educational needs. Eventually, I would like to get my Master’s in Childhood Development… and then hopefully move on to my (BIG) dream of getting a Doctorate in Developmental Psychology. Outside of school, I spend most of my time in the garden (it’s my favorite place to be), painting, creating things for my house, reading, or most importantly, playing with my children. I love kitties, puppies, chickens, ducks, turkeys, and pretty much every other animal to be found at my parents’ ranch… Which I consider to be my home away from home! I am always excited to get to know new people and visit with old friends, so stop by and say “hi” if you’re at the school and want to see what we’re up to!
Hello, Parents! I am thrilled to be joining Cloverbuds in my second year this year! I graduated with a teaching degree in Special Education from Utah State University. I did part of my student teaching in the University Preschool. After receiving my teaching license, I worked as a Special Educator (Mild/Moderate) in the middle school classroom for two years and also as a Choir substitute teacher at Cache High School for one year. I am the mother of 5 children, including two sets of twins. I have 4 boys and 1 girl. On the weekends, I get to work as a character actress for “Princess Ever After.” Nothing brings me greater joy than working with children. I am overjoyed to be back in the classroom this year, and I cannot wait to watch you little buds bloom!
